AFRICAN ARTS SOLUTIONS

This corporation is organized for exclusively for cultural, educational, scientific and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. To this end, the corporation shall promote and perform African Art and Culture in ways that it awakens, connects, heals, educates, empowers and generates self-confidence, mutual respect and happiness anywhere, each time. AFRICAN ARTS SOLUTIONS (A.A.S.) aims:

1- To perform activities that promote open heart, reach out with friendship, and thus  awakening and stimulating imagination and creativity in the participants.

2- To impart a richer understanding of Africa’s contributions to the world and teach appreciation of cultural diversity.

3- To offer Americans the opportunity to see, touch and play authentic African instruments, which are made of woods and other natural materials carefully selected by the wise tradition-keepers of Africa.

 4. To leave young people with open mind, heightened self-awareness, so that they will feel more self-esteem and will treat others with more respect.

5- To use the arts and cultural wisdom as important tools for contributing, protecting, preserving, strengthening, and helping communities in need.

6- To Use African concepts and wisdom, AFRICAN ARTS SOLUTIONS (A.A.S.) will help groups overcome the stress-filled work environment, facilitate communication and integrate humaneness in the workplace.

7- To facilitate the respect and the use of traditional culture as tools for attracting and successfully including authentic communities by working with organizations planning or implementing projects in rural areas.

8- Most importantly, to facilitate cultural exchange between Africa, America and the world.

All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
